How do I get more traffic to my site?
"I've put up plenty of metatags in the hope that I come up on search engines but I only get about 14 views a day. I also have a Twitter page where I refer people to my site daily and have put my website on StumbleUpon with no luck! Any advice?" |

You could also create a facebook page for your site and a blog as well. I at present use the facebook page idea and it has generated the most traffic for my site to date. |

Have a multi-faceted strategy. Connect to people on all the social networks like FB, twitter, stumble, digg, tumblr, pinterest, etc... and of course, be patient. building traffic takes time. good traffic, that is.

getting on the search engine will get you more traffic heres the tricky part traffic gets you on the search engine so its a progression. Start with traffic exchange, traffup.net(http://traffup.net/free/?rf=415476081&s=d) is a nice website for that and theres many you can google another is easyhits4u(http://a.easyhits4u.com/splash24.php?ref=domorefitness). That will get you fake traffic, high bounce rates as in nobody stays because these are not interested people who you eventually want to get and will when your on the search engine. You do that work to get traffic to push it up on the search for the keywords you wanted. Once you on it, the traffic will come from being on google, bing etc... Good luck!

First choose ur keyword carefully. Have a facebook, twitter, linkedin page and your regional networking site account. Submit your site to google and yahoo site directory.Then place your site link to yahoo answers. It will take time to generate traffic. Check my site www.assamcareer.com , it has 7000 pageviews in a month. Place top in yahoo and google in one keyword !

Build an advertising network that pushes your brand name with your content out into the communities of the internet. Make your name catchy and post high quality content on a couple dozen communities. then give it 60 days and search for your brand name. Whatever communities bring up your name - focus on those places and let them drive you up.

Be active on other sites and blogs by leaving relevant comments and follow. Because that will usually lead to return visits. Also submit your site to, for instance, StumbleUpOn where you can get lots of visits if you are lucky. All the best to you!

To succeed in the rankings these days you need to focus on creating a high quality site which is easy to use and features useful, unique content - oh, and driving traffic to your site via alternative platforms like social media and email marketing isn't a bad idea either!
